Marble floor lamp by Camille Breesch, Belgium 1975

[SOLD] A stylish floor lamp (uplighter) by the Belgian designer Camille Breesch, 1975. Finished in carrara marble with brass details. It stands over 185cm tall. The light that it spreads varies from functional to atmospheric due to the dimmer switch.
The typical Belgian designs are often caracterized by the use of luxurious materials such as high gloss lacquer, gold- and silverplating, glass, leather and marble. (See Willy Rizzo and Belgochrom.)
 
This floor lamp is in outstanding order with no chips of the marble and all the brass in very good condition. Fully functional, including the dimmer switch. Original designer badge on base.
