Coffee table by Angel Pazmiño for Muebles de Estilo, Ecuador 1960

[SOLD] Sculptural coffee table by Angel Pazmiño manufactured by Muebles de Estilo in Ecuador in the 1960's. It features a handmade teak frame combined with solid wooden table top covered in leather. The dark brown leather is embossed with native symbols.
 
Typical example of South American mid century furniture: solid, honest and sculptural.
 
This specific model has a very elegantly shaped base with four arms raising up to the table top.
 
In great condition with only minor signs of age. No damages to the well nourished leather.
